Building your custom Dream Catcher

First thing you will need to do is decide WHERE you will hang the dream catcher. Is it for ornamentation and will be hung in the public areas of the house, or will it be used for traditional purposes, and be hung over the bed?

Next, let's decide what size would be best. Are you looking for something for the vehicle? If so, stick with the small ones. Looking for something to fill a tall foyer? Then a triple or bigger would be great there. All of these decisions are yours, but we are willing to help with any of them. :-) The most common sizes we make are 5" to 8" singles.

Now is the time to choose the color for your Dream Catcher. Do you have a favorite color? Are you trying to match a decor? Do you want something natural that will give you the idea of an original Native American Dream catcher?

Okay, you have chosen size and color. Now, what are your favorite semi-precious gemstones? Do you want to choose for color? For traditional uses? Do you want them all the same? Do you want an assortment? Some have asked us to choose stones for a specific purpose, such as healing or protection. That can be done as well.

Do you want a stone shape in your dream Catcher? A heart? A star? Small or large? A cross? An arrowhead? Not all of the larger shapes are available in all stones. Inquire about availability if you have a preference.

Now let's move ahead to charms. We recommend choosing a color of charm (either antique pewter or brass) and stick to that color throughout the Dream Catcher. Or you can mix and match. Choose them to reflect your ideals, your beliefs, or things you like. Choose the number of charms YOU want, up to the limit for the size Dream Catcher you have chosen.

You now have the option to tell us where you would like all stones and charms placed in the web, or let us make an artistic decision on where they will look best.

After all those decisions have been made, go to finishing touches.
